The Quarterback Club of Washington is sanctioned by the NFL
Properties and is officially linked with the National Quarterback
Club.
PURPOSE
To benefit a prominent, local charity. Each local charity will
receive all net proceeds from the Quarterback Club's luncheons,
banquets and sponsorship programs.
DUTIES
To hold twice monthly luncheons featuring NFL players, coaches
and owners for fans and businesses to attend.
Hold Player of the Year Banquet to honor
team's best players.

DATES
Luncheons in September, October, November & December and
Player of the Year Banquet and broadcast in December.
PROMOTER
For 35 years, Bob Geoghan, the promoter of the Quarterback Club,
has been running the Quarterback Club of Washington and coordinating
with the National Quarterback Club. He also promotes the McDonald's
All American High School Basketball Game, broadcast live nationally
on ESPN, as well as the Capital Classic High School Basketball
Game, held annually at the MCI Center in Washington, DC
TV PARTNER
WJLA TV 7 will air a live Player of the Year broadcast in December,
and will provide 250 :30 spots for Quarterback Club promotion
throughout the season.
RADIO
WTEM will provide 200 promotional spots for Quarterback Club,
plus 20 opening billboards for Redskins pre-game show throughout
the season.
"Doc & Al" will broadcast live remotes from each luncheon from 10am to 1pm.
A minimum of 250 Shadow Traffic spots will
also air on 20 area stations.
PRINT PARTNER
Washington Post will publish a minimum of 400 column inches promoting
the Quarterback Club, valued at $102,000. NFL Game Day will also
feature 4 full page, full color ads during the season.
NEWSLETTER
A minimum of 50,000 flyers and newsletters are mailed to members
throughout the season.
