The Game
For over 25 years the future stars of the NBA have played here,
with a national squad facing off against the local all stars,
with basketball fireworks being the result. Michael Jordan, Magic
Johnson, Jason Kidd, Grant Hill, Joe Smith and hundreds of others
have made this among the top high school basketball games in
America.
Charities
All proceeds from the game go to Capital Classic Charities and
Ronald McDonald House. More than $750,000 has been raised over
the years for such causes as the Make A Wish Foundation, Children's
Hospital, The Ronald McDonald House, plus many more. 2000 game
charities will go to the Coaches vs. Cancer Fund.
