One of the largest balloon festivals in the region will kick off the largest event in Maryland, when upwards of 20 giant hot air balloons come together for the 123rd Maryland State Fair.

Shapes of All Sizes - A teaser of what's to come will
be displayed Thursday evening during sneak preview night. Balloons
such as the Pink Energizer Bunny, Giant Pig and many other creative
corporate flagships will be on display in the race track infield.
Balloon Glow Choreographed to Music - The public will
have a hands-on experience Friday night as corporate, sponsor
and shaped balloons converge for a musically choreographed display
in the race track infield. Upwards of 20 giant balloons will
be on display, all featuring giant sponsor banners and basket
signs. A colorful program will be the spectator's guide to all
the fun.
Media and Sponsor Launch - Saturday morning will include
all the balloons for a media and sponsor launch, designed to
bring as much attention to each sponsor as possible. Sponsors
are encouraged to allow members of the media to fly as their
guests in order to maximize exposure.
Official State Fair Balloon Race - All participating
sponsors balloons and shapes will again launch from the state
fair in hopes of winning the prize money in the "Maryland
State Fair" Balloon Race.
The cover of the Fair's full color "Official Program"
will prominently feature the balloon festival, including 5 corporate
balloons. This same theme will also carry over into the major
newspaper, radio and TV marketing campaign.
Hospitality
A VIP Pilot's Reception will take place during the festival,
and will be open to participating sponsors, guests, media and
of course, the professionals flying your sponsored balloons.
